Privacy Policy

The short version
Stikr turns a video you choose into animated stickers. We keep the smallest amount of data we can: your Stikrs and the files needed to make them, and nothing about you as a person. We never sell your data and we do not show ads.
What we collect
- The video you choose. Uploaded from your phone or browser, or fetched from a public YouTube link you provide. It is used only to make your stickers.
- Your Stikrs. The finished sticker images and a small record of the job, such as its status and the moments found.
- Saved faces (optional). If you use face swap, the photos you add are stored so you can reuse that face. You can delete them at any time.
- A private device account. A random signed cookie gives this device its own account so your Stikrs stay private. It contains no name or email.
- Sign in (optional). If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address, name and profile picture, and we keep the packs you saved to your account.
- Anonymous counts. Simple totals such as how many Stikrs were made that day. These counts contain no user id, device id, IP address, link or file name.
Google sign-in data
Signing in with Google is optional. When you do, Stikr asks Google only for the basic OpenID scopes (openid, email, profile). Stikr does not access your Gmail, Drive, contacts, calendar, YouTube account or any other Google data.
- What we receive: your email address, name, profile picture and Google account id.
- How we use it: only to sign you in, show who is signed in, and keep your saved packs attached to your account so you can reach them on another device.
- Sharing: we do not sell, rent or share it, and never use it for ads or to train AI models. It is held by Supabase, our sign-in provider, only to run Stikr.
- Protection: it is sent over HTTPS, stored encrypted at rest, and read only by Stikr’s server.
- Deletion: sign out at any time in Settings, or revoke Stikr’s access from your Google Account’s security settings. To have your account and its Google details deleted, email us at the address below and we will remove them within 30 days.
Stikr’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
How long we keep it
- Uploaded videos are deleted a few hours after your stickers are made.
- Stikrs are kept for 7 days, or for as long as you want them if you are signed in.
- When you delete the video, stickers can still be used but can no longer be edited or remade.
- Anonymous daily counts are kept so we can see how Stikr is doing. They never identify you.
Who processes it for us
Stikr uses trusted services to do its work. Your video is sent to Google’s Gemini API for analysis. Files and job records are stored with our cloud storage provider. The website runs on Vercel, and video processing runs on Modal. If you sign in, accounts and saved packs are held by Supabase. These providers process data only to run Stikr for you.
Cookies and analytics
Stikr uses one strictly necessary cookie for your private device account. It is required for the app to work and contains no personal details.
Google Analytics is optional and only loads after you accept it. It counts visits and helps us see which pages are useful. Your videos and Stikrs are never sent to it, and you can turn it off at any time in Settings.
Your choices
- Delete everything. Settings has a Delete all my data button. It removes this device’s videos, Stikrs, saved faces and packs, and, when signed in, the packs saved to your account.
- Analytics. Turn Google Analytics on or off any time under Analytics in Settings.
- Sign out. You can sign out in Settings. Your private device account stays on this phone until you clear Stikr’s data.
Children
Stikr is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we will update the date at the top of this page.
